Turkey - Duzce G26-A License
MPP-Energy and Enpet Energy are co-operating in the Duzce G26-A license, one of four exploration blocks in the Sakarya-Duzce license area in Northern Turkey. Since the award, a 2D seismic survey was obtained and interpreted to mature the G26-A prospect ready for drilling. This licence area comprises a total of four blocks immediately south of TPAOs successful Akcakoca project and recently discovered Tuna-1 gas discovery. Two main prospects in the Paleocene-Eocene and Cretaceous Akveren have been identified for drilling with mean prospective resources of 328 Bcf of gas in the main target, plus further upside.
The concession is located adjacent to TPAO’s successful Akcakoca project discovery, the Tuna-1 Gas Well (14.3 Tcf). New 2D seismic interpretation revel potential hydrocarbons on two main structures. A total of up to 4 shallow Wells are planned for 2023. High quality infrastructure (Botas Pipeline) is in place with multiple export options to the international markets.
Both companies will work jointly with their partners on other upstream projects in Turkey and the Middle-East, and are actively looking for parters in this and other up-stream projects
